主要用作汽油添加剂,提高辛烷值,亦可裂解制得异丁烯
可作汽油添加剂,代替四乙基铅,提高辛烷值。微溶于水。与许多有机溶剂和汽油互溶。与一些极性溶剂如水、甲醇、乙醇等形成共沸物。有轻度麻醉作用。
