化学性质
白色四方棱形状结晶或粉末。有氨的气味和咸味。加热温度高于其熔点时则分解成缩二脲、氨和三聚氰酸。1g溶于1ml水、10ml95%乙醇、1ml95%沸乙醇、20ml无水乙醇、6ml甲醇和2ml甘油。溶于浓盐酸,几乎不溶于乙醚和氯仿。10%水溶液的pH为7.23。有刺激性。 熔点 132-135 °C(lit.) 密度 1.335 g/mL at 25 °C(lit.) 折射率 n20/D 1.40 溶解度 H2O: 8 M at 20 °C

用途及存储
分析中用以检验锑和锡。测定铅、钙、铜、镓、磷、碘化物和硝酸盐。测定血液尿素氮时,配标准溶液,测定血清胆红素。烃的分离。分析中用以分解氮的氧化物及亚硝酸。制备培养基。福林法测定尿酸时的稳定剂,均相沉淀。
生产方法
用二氧化碳和氨在高温、高压下合成氨基甲酸铵,经分解、吸收转化后,结晶,分离、干燥而成。
密封干燥保存。
